Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (BBE)

You are the light that gives light to the world. A city that is built on a hill cannot be hidden. And people don't hide a light under a bowl. They put it on a lamp stand so the light shines for all the people in the house. In the same way, you should be a light for other people.      Jesus answered,
"'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the greatest and the most important commandment. Matthew 22:36-40 (GNT)
Sierra Road Fall ColorsNow a crowd was sitting round Him; so they tell Him, "Your mother and Your brothers and sisters are outside, inquiring for You."
"Who are My mother and My brothers?" He replied. And, fixing His eyes on the people who were sitting round Him in a circle, He said, "Here are My mother and My brothers. For wherever there is one who has been obedient to God, there is My brother--My sister--and My mother." Mark 3:32-35 (WNT)

     He said to him,
"You have answered correctly. Do this, and you will live." Luke 10:25-28 (WEB)

"Go and do the same." Luke 10:36-37 (The Message)

So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life - your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life - and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him. Romans 12:1 (The Message)
Let your love be perfectly sincere. Regard with horror what is evil; cling to what is right. As for brotherly love, be affectionate to one another; in matters of worldly honor, yield to one another. Romans 12:9-10 (WNT)
Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law. For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not give false testimony," "You shall not covet," and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love doesn't harm his neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the Law. Romans 13:8-10 (WEB)
But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love Him." 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NRSV)
We know that "we all have knowledge." Knowledge puffs you up with pride, but love builds up. 1 Corinthians 8:1 (NCV™)
[1 Corinthians 13 is commonly referred to as the “Love Chapter” in the Bible, where Paul presents true love’s characteristics and accomplishments:]
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away… So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:1-8, 13 (ESV)

Pumpkins2Let all that you do be done in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14 (WEB)
My brothers and sisters, God called you to be free, but do not use your freedom as an excuse to do what pleases your sinful self. Serve each other with love. The whole Law is made complete in this one command: "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." Galatians 5:13-14 (NCV™)
Brothers and sisters, if someone in your group does something wrong, you who are spiritual should go to that person and gently help make him right again. But be careful, because you might be tempted to sin, too. By helping each other with your troubles, you truly obey the Law of Christ. Galatians 6:1-2 (NCV™)
So don't get tired of doing what is good. Don't get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time. Whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone, especially to our Christian brothers and sisters. Galatians 6:9-10 (NLT)
Long ago, even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes. His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. And this gave Him great pleasure. So we praise God for the wonderful kindness He has poured out on us because we belong to His dearly loved Son. Ephesians 1:4-6 (NLT)
But God's mercy is so abundant, and His love for us is so great, that while we were spiritually dead in our disobedience He brought us to life with Christ. It is by God's grace that you have been saved. Ephesians 2:4-5 (GNT)
And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts, living within you as you trust in Him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love; and may you be able to feel and understand, as all God's children should, how long, how wide, how deep, and how high His love really is; and to experience this love for yourselves, though it is so great that you will never see the end of it or fully know or understand it. And so at last you will be filled up with God Himself. Ephesians 3: 17-19 (TLB)
Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2 (NKJV)
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her… So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. Ephesians 5:25, 28 (NKJV)

Steel Gray Cloud FrontThis is my prayer for you: that your love will grow more and more; that you will have knowledge and understanding with your love; that you will see the difference between good and bad and will choose the good; that you will be pure and without wrong for the coming of Christ; that you will do many good things with the help of Christ to bring glory and praise to God. Philippians 1:9-11 (NCV™)
In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus. Christ Himself was like God in everything. But He did not think that being equal with God was something to be used for His own benefit. But He gave up His place with God and made Himself nothing. He was born to be a man and became like a servant. And when He was living as a man, He humbled Himself and was fully obedient to God, even when that caused His death -- death on a cross. Philippians 2:5-8 (NCV™)
You are the people of God; He loved you and chose you for His own. So then, you must clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Be tolerant with one another and forgive one another whenever any of you has a complaint against someone else. You must forgive one another just as the Lord has forgiven you. And to all these qualities add love, which binds all things together in perfect unity. Colossians 3:12-14 (GNT)
The purpose of this command is for people to have love, a love that comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a true faith. 1 Timothy 1:5 (NCV™)
The Lord corrects everyone He loves, and punishes everyone He accepts as a child. Hebrews 12:6 (GNT)
Let brotherly love always continue. Do not neglect to show kindness to strangers; for, in this way, some, without knowing it, have had angels as their guests. Remember prisoners, as if you were in prison with them; and remember those suffering ill-treatment, for you yourselves also are still in the body. Hebrews 13:1-3 (WNT)
Every good present and every perfect gift comes from above, from the Father who made the sun, moon, and stars. The Father doesn't change like the shifting shadows produced by the sun and the moon. James 1:17 (GOD’S WORD®)
Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. James 4:8 (WNT)
Last of all, see that you are all in agreement; feeling for one another, loving one another like brothers, full of pity, without pride: Not giving back evil for evil, or curse for curse, but in place of cursing, blessing; because this is the purpose of God for you that you may have a heritage of blessing. 1 Peter 3:8-9 (BBE)

Above all things have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins." Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. 1 Peter 4:8-9 (NKJV)
He who loves his brother man continues in the light, and his life puts no stumbling-block in the way of others. 1 John 2:10 (WNT)

Glacier Mountain GoatDo not love the world, nor the things in the world. If any one loves the world, there is no love in his heart for the Father. 1 John 2:15 (WNT)
What marvelous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it - we're called children of God! That's who we really are. But that's also why the world doesn't recognize us or take us seriously, because it has no idea who He is or what He's up to. But friends, that's exactly who we are: children of God. And that's only the beginning. Who knows how we'll end up! What we know is that when Christ is openly revealed, we'll see Him - and in seeing Him, become like Him. All of us who look forward to His Coming stay ready, with the glistening purity of Jesus' life as a model for our own. 1 John 3:1-3 (The Message)
The Message that you have heard from the beginning is to love each other. Don't be like Cain. He was a child of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did Cain murder his brother? Because the things Cain did were evil and the things his brother did had God's approval. Brothers and sisters, don't be surprised if the world hates you. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love other believers. The person who doesn't grow in love remains in death. 1 John 3:11-14 (GOD’S WORD®)
We understand what love is when we realize that Christ gave His life for us. That means we must give our lives for other believers. Now, suppose a person has enough to live on and notices another believer in need. How can God's love be in that person if he doesn't bother to help the other believer? Dear children, we must show love through actions that are sincere, not through empty words. 1 John 3:16-18 (GOD’S WORD®)
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God. He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love. 1 John 4:7-8 (WEB)
Utah OverlookBeloved, if God loved us so, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 1 John 4:11-12 (WEB)
As for us, we know the love which God has for us, and we confide in it. God is love, and he who continues to love continues in union with God, and God continues in union with him… Love has in it no element of fear; but perfect love drives away fear, because fear involves pain, and if a man gives way to fear, there is something imperfect in his love. We love because God first loved us. 1 John 4:16, 18-19 (WNT)
If a man says, I have love for God, and has hate for his brother, his words are false: for how is the man who has no love for his brother whom he has seen, able to have love for God whom he has not seen? And this is the Word which we have from Him, that he who has love for God is to have the same love for his brother. 1 John 4:20-21 (BBE)
The fact that we love God Himself, and obey His commands, is a proof that we love God's children. 1 John 5:2 (WNT)
The love of which I am speaking consists in our living in obedience to God's commands. God's command is that you should live in obedience to what you all heard from the very beginning. 2 John 6 (WNT)
Keep yourselves safe in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ which will result in the Life of the Ages. Jude 21 (WNT)
"I correct and discipline everyone I love. Take this seriously, and change the way you think and act." Revelation 3:19 (GOD’S WORD®)
